hi, can a moderator pm me why my sister's boyfriend got banned today please? his username is simon he is a newbie here and he is a genuine member. he tried to login as usual but was presented with the perm ban message with no explanation, he was left feeling disapointed as he really enjoyed it here. thanks

ruler, tell him not to panic, there a few in that situation, me included, can get on with iPhone but not on laptop, there a convo about it in FB group finhaholics, has happened before am sure mods are busy sorting it

It is some sort of issue that pops up every once in a while.

Im on with my desktop. Got the message earlier today when I tried to view as a visitor (not logged in) on my iPhone.

Sorry everyone, we are just waiting on an answer from Hilary and after that hopefully everything will be resolved.

I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only one having a problem with the banned message. I went to log in this morning on my Droid and about had a heartattack when I got the message.

I was notified via my Evo4 on Thursday but was able to log on the next morning with a code and switched my password. I was able to ge onto the lap top though...seems to be a mobile phone issue with some members.

it sounds like the forum was hacked or a forum Modification(MOD) has failed. i've seen something like this several times before. if it has been hacked the first thing i would do is make sure the forumsoft has the latest updates and then check the forum folder/directory for any files that shouldnt be there(files that have been added by an attacker).

i hope none of this is the case though, its a shame people still abuse the internet and innocent sites such as this suffer as a result. i hope you guys n gals have everything sorted out soon. good luck

It seems that those that can get on the forum via laptop or computer are having trouble accessing the forum on their phones and visa versa. It banned me on my phone but my laptop is ok.

I can now get on via my laptop which I couldn't yesterday.
