Has anyone else been having this problem?
For the last month I have not been receiving any notifications from the forum when replies are posted to topics I'm contributing to, or when I receive a PM.

I have checked all of my settings and everything is set up correctly, and I've checked my spam and it's not going there (never went there before).

I'm wondering if something in the set up of the site was changed and this is somehow a factor in the sudden lack of notifications going out?

I don't have my system set up for notifications but when I open up the Finch Forum - I have a pop up window that opens when ever there are any PM's for me.

I have been recieving them in my spam. They do show up in my inbox still, but how do you change the settings??? I want the pm pop up like Liz has!

Nixity - did you happen to check your spam folder? There are 2 addresses that the board uses to send e-mails; one is do-not-reply@finchforum.com and the other is support@finchforum.com

Try to make sure both of those addresses are in your "whitelist" (meaning that your e-mail server knows you want to receive messages from them & that they are not spam).

If the problem persists, let me know!!

Yes I've tried checking spam - it's not going there :/
I also verified that it wasn't somehow added to a "blocked" list when my email was hacked back on July 18th.. but when I was checking, I saw that I had received notifications up until July 22nd, they just stopped after/around that time... and I haven't received any sense.

I was JUST participating in a rather colorful debate on a friend's facebook wall yesterday, too, who posted asking if it was shallow to discard a man as dating potential if he doesn't properly use (or know the difference between) "your" and "you're."

It's fixed - I didn't realize the email I had associated to my account was a gouldiansgalore.net email, I thought it was my personal gmail account.

When I checked, I noticed it was a defunct gg.net account which I had deleted, thus, no more notifications!

Fixed it, getting them now... derp derp..
