Distorted Photos when posting....Why?
What has changed that is causing my photos to be squished to be narrower than the originals.....I copy them from Photobucket and have tried downloading different sizes.....Can someone tell me what size now works to keep them looking like the originals?....Did something on the site change?
Thanks
Thanks

The one big thing that changed now is that we can load our pictures directly from our computer....no more need for photobucket As to the resizing problem you are having I have no idea

I can't help either, not a computer techie, and I also quit using photobucket and now post directly from my computer--so easy.

I've noticed the same thing... the reason I prefer Photobucket is because it doesn't put that huge ugly outline around the image.
If you click on the photobucket image in the thread, the photo corrects itself, but it's nice to see the normal reduced down size without it being squished looking.
I've noticed some of mine do this, some of them don't. I haven't discovered the magic combination that corrects it.

Second image is an example of one that appears squished until you click on it to view full size..Crystal wrote: G8love4finches & nixity Can you please provide a link to an example of this happening so that I can look into it?

Ah I see! I know the forum has a function to automatically scale/resize photos that are beyond a certain dimension so they don't stretch your screen out, but they are *supposed* to be scaled "evenly" & not distorted! I'll add looking into this problem to the "to-do" list!
Thanks for making me aware, guys! :0)
