PM's sitting in Outbox?

Recently, when sending PM's, some of them seem to just sit in the Outbox. Sometimes these also appear in the Sent box, but other times they just seem to sit in the Outbox without ever appearing as Sent, so there's no way of knowing if they actually went or not.

Is there something we can do to be sure it's gone through, or is this something that needs to be addressed by someone with powers?

Typically PM's will sit in your outbox until the recipient opens them. Then they disappear from your outbox and will only be in your sentbox. HTH
