Is there a way to search for members by location? I always prefer to acquire new birds from local breeders, and I do not want to get birds shipped to me.

You could try using the phoogle map feature (in the left hand bar), but not all members are on there, depending on their privacy settings. Alternatively, you could post in the marketplace forum, something like "looking for (species) in (city, state) area" so that members who have birds available can contact you.
