Little graphic signs on posts
What do the moving bells, paperclips, arrows, etc. on the LEFT SIDE of the posts mean??? I've searched the forum & can't find any answers.

Dolly, go to the very bottom of this page: http://www.finchforum.com/viewforum.php?f=11
you should see some of the definitions
paperclip means there is an attachment, like a picture
black dot means it's a post you have responded to
hope that helps

Because they don't want anyone to add to the post for one reason or another, the reason varies why they do that.

Re: Little graphic signs on posts
And the arrow just points to an unread post, even though the bell being yellow says the same thing. We do lock threads for various reasons. Often because it has become heated, or it has been talked to death with no point to continuing (usually in the case of two different points of view that are never going to agree). Sometimes we lock threads in the Marketplace because all the advertised items are sold, and there is no need for any further posts. Any time you come across a locked thread and you wanted to post or wonder why it is locked, you can always PM a moderator for an explanation.
