I finally updated the board's software. This may break a lot of things. Please let me know if you feel any feature of the board may be broken. Reply with any error message you may have received, and please let me know what specifically you were doing at the time the error was generated. If no error was generated but something still seems broken or works differently/worse than before, describe it to the best of your ability so that I can look into fixing it!

Thanks Crystal, I was wondering why I couldn't log on this morning. Now, it makes sense. Will browse around and see how things are working.

I happened to be logged on when the update started, so I was kicked off. But when I tried to log on again, I received a message about the forum being down for maintenance, or some such message, so I knew it was being updated (also had received messages from the support mailbox that our phbbp needed to be updated). However, others saw a message that the forum was disabled, which was confusing and made them think something was wrong. I don't know if we can control this, but it would be nice if everyone was able to see the message I received, which let me see that it was routine and would soon be back, rather than the message that some others received that implied that there was something wrong with the forum.

I'm unable to upload any photos to the gallery. Not sure if this is a me only problem or if others have experienced it but I did notice no one has uploaded photos since the update.

I tried using Chrome and IE, both with the latest versions. Maybe I'm using photos that are too large?

I just uploaded 2 photos using chrome and they went up no problem, didn't even have to resize them.

Just to clarify, I uploaded to a post not the gallery.

TheWhiteFinchAviary I just checked the gallery, and there are photos there that were just loaded in the last few days. So I guess it is your computer, Chelsea. Sorry I can't help, I'm so computer illiterate!

Thanks Sally! It definitely isn't computer issues, I have a brand new XPS 12 laptop and I haven't had it long enough to ruin it yet. Sometimes it's recognized as a tablet from some sites, maybe the forum isn't tablet compatible?

I noticed this morning that when I would try to tap on Finch Forum, I would get 'web page not found' or 'error'. Yet when I clicked on Finch Chat, I could get in. I thought it was something to do with me. Right now everything seems to be ok, as far as I can see.

Well I was finally able to upload a photo, I had to make it a very tiny fraction of its original size but it worked. (DUH to me)

BUT it's not showing up right in the gallery. The only thing I can think of is it must be an issue with the update since no one has tried to upload to the gallery since. Again this could be a me only issue.

Chelsea, i checked on the gallery for you, and the picture of your finch showed up.

Thanks Brian!! I double checked and I do see it now. No idea what caused the issue in the screenshot I posed.
