When I post a reply or topic, hit the submit button, it takes forever now for that message to post. I finally decide it's not going to happen, so I hit the submit button again, and then I get the message that at least one post has already been made, which means mine has finally posted and now this one will be a duplicate post, so I have to cancel it. Nothing serious, but annoying. I wondered if it is just me, or if others are having this same problem.

Nope, lightning fast here today. More likely your connection speed than the site.

Thanks, Lori, I'm not very computer savvy, so I wondered if it was just my computer. I have a wireless hotspot, cable is not available in my area, so that's probably my problem.

I don't know what's going on. I heard on the news last night that if you have Internet Explorer, they've had a breech, so you should change internet providers. So I switched to Google Chrome. This morning, the forum was slow, and then this afternoon, I lost all internet, even on my new smart phone. Couldn't get emails, nothing. All of a sudden, it is back. I feel so stupid around computers!

I don't have any problems with the forum same as any other day.
The other day I was doing a test online for school and the internet just died.. along with the tv (i have at&t) at about 11pm. I was on the phone with the technician (I was seriously annoyed.. how does this happen during ::me:: time!). He then said that there was something wrong on MY side. They had a guy come around the next day and had told me my internet is "too hot", well gee... whats that mean? Apparently the wiring that was done was not long enough so it was just going in and out. ... UH'ok.
I hate computers too. I used to be good in high school.. but now? Pft... forget it. I will drop kick my laptop..

I think it is more prevalent than we realized. I also thought it was just me. I have wireless, and sometimes the whole system bogs down (my neighbor tells me it is when all the kids get out of school between 3-4pm and get on the internet). But it is so aggravating to have to wait so long for a post to even submit. Nerien started another thread on this, I may have to merge these two.

My connection is fine for other sites online. Just the FF that is slow, slow, slow! Maybe, we can ask Crystal to see if something can be done?

It's been very slow but just during the day. I am up all night and it's fast then. So maybe it is according to internet traffic.
