Pasting URL of Pictures

On this forum and many others, we are not allowed to post pictures that do not belong to us. That is the copyright law, which is totally fine, because I am here to show you guys an easy way to share a picture that is ok to post .
(I used google for my searches)

Step 1: Type into google what you are looking for.
Step 2: Click on images, and click on the picture you would like to share.
Step 3: Click on view image.
Step 4: Copy the specific URL for the picture, and share it here.

I'm having problems here Brian. It says that the picture went into Clipboard, but once back on the forum, I don't know how to find it, retrieve it, or post it (?)

lovezebs , when you get to the step with the picture, you have to highlight the specific url. Then on the top left of your screen there should be an "edit" button. Click that, and choose the copy option. Then, go on edit when you are commenting, and choose paste. It should look like this:

lovezebs what kind of phone do you have?

If you have a touch screen, tap or double tap the url screen and click copy.

Then when you get to the forum, tap it again and click paste.

I saw on colts post that you use your phone.

Honey, I just can't get it to work for me. I'll just have to let Sally beat me with the coco fiber.

I'll suffer the coco fiber, my boy. Anything is preferable, to that exercise in futility of trying to figure this out. I get frustrated, and I can feel the old blood pressure going through the roof .

I'm not giving up, just understanding my limitations. At some point, I will figure it out and it will click. Right now... just not happening. In this case, it really is not the 'teacher', it is definitely the 'student'.

lovezebs don't worry, it's not so easy to do. I'm sure it will click and you will say "AAH, THATS HOW YOU DO IT"

That is a good question lovezebs... What kind of phone do you use? I could or Brian could I'm sure make screenshots showing how to do it on the phone step by step and even draw little arrows in paint for you. ;)

I think the problem is that the instructions up there are more for a computer...

Yeah I just tried it from the phone. I have an iPhone, but I figured it out. I didn't think it would work, but it did. Let me try posting from the phone...

Well of course they posted in reverse order. Start at the bottom and work up.

Step 1 - Google Search Amethyst Starling

Step 2 - Select desired picture

Step 3 - Click those three dots. A menu pops up and select "View image"

Step 4 - Click the Square with the arrow in the middle of the screen and this menu appears. I had to slide over to find copy.

Step 5 - Click inside the text box of the forum and hold until "Paste" appears. Select Paste and....

For whatever reason, not only is the link (url) posted, but then the photo posted as well, which shouldn't have happened. I'll remove the photo of the Scarlet Robin and leave the url, as that does work very well. Thanks for the explanation, Brian!
