Hey FINCHforum! I hope everyone is enjoying their summer.. I know I am. I thought it would be a good time to inform new members and update existing members about our social media success!

We currently have a Facebook page and Instagram accounts. Over this year, we have reached over 125 Facebook like and almost 200 Instagram followers! We have also acquired and maintained relations with the Finch Farm, who has joined our forum a few months ago. In addition, quite a few people have joined our forum through the social media accounts. If some of you have these media accounts, please like our pages!

If anyone has questions or concerns regarding our accounts and navigation around the forum, please let me know.

Stuart whiting You are correct, New York City never sleeps... But that's what I love about it.

I'm not sure if you realize this - but Fakebook has implemented blocking of all non-Fakebook members.

What this means is that you cannot really see even a "public" site on Fakebook without logging in, and you of course cannot log in if you don't have an account.

I HAD a Fakebook account back when they first came out and swore up and down they would never invade your privacy or open your account to the general public.

It is by now obvious what a colossal whopper THAT was.

I had to delete the page when a stalker tracked me down after one of Fakebook's many and constant changes to my privacy settings that made the page no longer private.

Now they have this annoying large THING that tries to force you to log in or create an account that blocks about 1/3rd of the page you are trying to view. On my laptop this makes most of the page inaccessible as I have to zoom the page to be able to read the text.

Just sayin'. I'm not saying NOT to have a Fakebook page, just realize that there are many many people who won't have access to it.
