Somethings missing

I belong to a number of different forums involving different topics, so I really hate to post things in the wrong section. This forum, as much as I enjoy it, seems to be lacking a place where we can discuss general goings on with our Finches. I don't feel right announcing some births, or hearing of someone elses goings on in the general questions section, since the very heading seems to be saying "questions only". Can we have a general discussion area for just goings on, and talk, without having to have some specific problem to discuss?

If I'm not mistaken, this is something Crystal intended to add at one time... but never got around to it.

Hey Crystal...can you give us an "off track" thread?

I'm not saying we need an off topic section, although that's always nice for socializing with fellow Finch fanatics, but just a general talk section. Not all Finch talk is "help needed" related, or fits precisely into one of the other sections..
