I can't seem to opt out of just email notifications

I want to keep getting notifications in my message box on this forum, but I don't want email notifications, and my inbox has been getting flooded by them for the last couple of years. I tried opting out of notifications, and now I still get some emails, but not as many. However, this hasn't exactly helped because I'm not getting notifications in the FINCHforum message box any more. How do I exclusively opt out of getting emails from this forum?

Mark the emails as "spam" and they should be automatically disposed of easily that way.

Thanks; I'll try that. Will it block emails from other members, as well, or just the auto-generated ones?
