Uk finch owners

Post by readingfc » Sat Feb 28, 2009 5:01 pm

I was wondering if there could be a section on this site for all UK finch owners/breeders so that we can contact each other for exchanging/breeding/selling etc etc.
If this was a possibility it would be great :D

I'm pretty sure there is a UK Finch Forum - others will tell you about it soon, no doubt.

Google 'Feathered Flyer' mate...surprised if you've not come across it already...busiest forum in the UK for finches and waxbills.

Fine...but with only about 30 UK members on here, few who post regularly,...and the fact that most won't live anywhere near you...I would feel it defeats the object if you're looking for stock or exchanges.
This forum is great worldwide for exchange of ideas, but with vast distances between many members, not the ideal for buying or selling.

I would suggest you try to get to the Stafford Spring Show in the Midlands
on March 8th where you will see thousands of breeders and keepers and thousands of birds for sale,a really huge 'Do' and the biggest in the UK. A trip of 143 miles for you.
