I only wish sometimes I could read the forum posts on my new iPhone like the Facebook entries. Has anybody else an iPhone here? There should be a way to create an app that can display new posts.

I can get it on my BlackBerry Curve, not sure about the IPhone. I pull it up through Google or my Yahoo APP. Call Apple and find out how to create an app for it.

If we are in the car and I am busy with my phone (hubby is driving). He asks me, "on the forum again dear?"

I can view the website on my iphone also, but it's too tiny. I can zoom in but that's a pain. Maybe I'll try to create an app myself. I used to be a programmer waayyy back... How hard can it be?

I have the same problem, while you are viewing the screen can you hit your options button while staying on the forum, if so do you have a "view as column" or "page view" choice if so click on that and it should make it into a normal viewing page. This is how I view it from the BlackBerry. Customer care said that on pages with a lot of detail an information you can either zoom in or out. I does not always work. My daughter showed me the option of viewing as a column. It works better.

If you continue to have problems call customer care and they may have to talk you through it or tweek a few things on their end to allow you to view the pages.

I don't think I have something like this setting on the iPhone. But I'm still learning. Actually, I'm posting this from the iPhone right now. But it's not very comfortable.

It came through fine. Call Apple and talk to a tech, they will help you. Or better yet call the carrier your cell phone service is through and ask for tech support.

I firmly subscribe to the forum

There is a wealth of information to be tapped into that would otherwise be missed with a chat module added to the site.

I agree that on an individual basis chatting would be more efficient and productive but for the collective cause of the site the forum MUST remain!

What I find great about the forum is when considering a certain type of finch I watch what is wrtten and old information, it is just a click away either on the computer or BlackBerry cell phone (handt if at a show!!!!)
