On a lot of other forums I'm a part of, at the bottom of each thread there is a "Quick Reply" box. Users can type their message in the box and click submit without having to click "Post reply" and leave the page. I really like having this option for lighthearted threads that I would only write a few words in like "Welcome" or "Congrats". I also like having the option of quick reply because it makes it easier to look through the thread without having to go back or scroll through "topic review" at the bottom of the reply page. I think a quick reply box would be a great addition to FF.

Yes I know what you mean and that could be an asset here too. One forum "CanadaPleco.com" even has icons within the quick reply to allow posting of images, videos, urls, etc. Very handy!
