wish saturday would hurry up

I cant wait for saturday to get here. finally after waiting for ages I can go and pick up from the breeder two pairs of cordon's ($55 a pair) feels like time is going slower & slower at the moment though lol.
Am also getting another pair of orange breasts.

thats australian dollars willie and the birds are direct from a breeder, who has been breeding finches for almost 20 years. I guess in a shop they would cost closer to 80 or 90 dollars.

I prefer to buy my birds from breeders because this way I know that I am getting young birds with leg bands that have the year of birth on them

I picked up the birds today and released them into my aviary, no pics though as I had to go back to work :cry: when I got home it was to dark to take any pics so thats tomorrows job, but the red cheeked cordons and the orange breasts seemed to have settles in quite well. 3 of the cordons were in the food dish while the other was having a bath
