a little video, kinda long, but right at the beginning you can hear Pongo singing, then feel free to shut it off!

Nice pair. I've not been a fan of the lilac breast, but it's growing on me.

Thanks. I'll be honest, I wanted a normal purple breast but the breeder misunderstood me and saved me a lilac breast. So my choice was take them now, or wait another couple of months (no), or he said I could trade the lilac breast back to him for a purple breast, (yeah, right, like I could give up my baby once he was in my house).

So I was slightly disappointed, but within the first day I had succumbed to his charms, and now Pongo and Perdita are both firmly in my heart.

They are a gorgeous pair!! :D

I really enjoyed the video....I had just put my flock to bed and now the Gouldians are talking back to your video....LOL!

It is so cute when the male peeks out over the top of the seed hopper.

They are really beautiful! That's one colour I don't have yet - a lilac breast. Hopefully someday!

Great Gouldians! I have 1 male red head, lilac breasted just like yours and 1 yellow headed purple breasted male. I also have a female like yours except she has a white breast. :)

LOL! I have been told by some local breeders that it is best to wait until they are at least a year old, so I am (semi) patiently waiting until then!

they are right, it is best to wait until a gouldian is a year old before letting them breed. they can breed when younger but I feel safer knowing that they are fully mature
