So - gotta think about heating the aviaries/flights this winter. I have always used the ceramic bulb with deflector hood - but they are awkward and ugly.
Anyone use these AviTemp panels? They seem a little pricey, but I always worry about covering the cages at night, and causing a fire if the sheets are over the ceramic ones. The back of these are supposedly cool. Would be putting them on top wire of the Plexi flight/Aviaries.

When it starts getting seriously colder perhaps there will be more interest. I will be glad to share how mine are working out.
