No Red Faced Parrot Finches, Please!

Hubby called me late last night, and told me that their flight was confirmed, their boarding passes printed out, and so, (pause, sigh) they were all ready to fly home tonight (pause, sigh).

Gave me plenty of chance to tell them to go buy the car.

I'm so mean, I didn't do it.

No car, no getting to drive 1200 miles home for son with learner's permit (he was all happy about knowing his permit was good in Florida, until I pointed out he was not allowed to drive the rental car). No swinging through Georgia to get RF parrot finches for me. He assured me the BRZ had plenty of room in the back seat for RF parrot finch cages. Sure, but then where are you going to put your suitcases?

So, they will be home very late tonight, sad, car-less, and I will probably get to see about 20 pictures of Florida and 5000 pictures of cars.

I know.....They get on the plane at about 6:30 tonight. At 6:35, I'll send an email saying, "okay, been working on it all day, and I've got it figured out, we can do it, go get the car...."

Jason is keeping his Harley Davidson (that I love and hate - 7 more payments!!! Wohooooo!). Its beautiful. But he has a bad back.... And can't ride on it long. He blames the cold weather.
He said he is giving it to Lacey later. She loves the bike too. I get so scared when he's on it and he's late home.. Could you imagine how bad it'd be when she starts riding? I'm going to have a GPS chip on her bike so I can see it on my phone moving.
The other day he went to school. Told me he left to go home.. It takes about 45 minutes. Well I was waiting over two hours. ....he was at a bar up the streets having a few beers. He didnt let me know cause his phone died.
So I hope I don't have to relate to this later in life.

I don't know why they even are pushing for a car just now. Son can't get his license before mid-May at the earliest, anyway.

Nor did, or do we have any plans to get a third car, yet.

Nor do I actually want RF parrot finches right now. (I want them, but only in theory right now. Not actually. NOt ready.) No room, no spare cage for them, no place to put them even if we do rearrange right now.

Besides, I'm sure I could hire someone to drive to Georgia and back with the birds for a lot less than buying hubby and son a new car.
