Haha Steve IS so cute, he always makes us laugh because he is the worst flying bird I've ever seen. I say he's a canary that wants to be a Kakapo because he prefers to walk on the ground rather than fly and he eats seemingly endless quantities of greens. XD He's already got the right coloration. When he does fly, his landings are terrible - if he's landing on a flat surface he falls on his face, wings outstretched, and does a half-summersault, and if he is landing on a branch he tends to overshoot and grab on with just one foot, fall upside down, and hang there fluttering. He's a real character and that ridiculous hair doesn't help his image much.

Bumping this because nobody ever comments I have 4 babies in one nest now (still just Simba in the other, but he is growing!).

Babies 5 and 6 in Lyra's nest have hatched now, bringing me to a total of 7 chicks aged 5 days, with Simba, to newborn.

Haha Sheather - I feel the same way about my Breeding Journal in the Breeding section. Pages will go by where I feel like I'm talking to myself... :p

I wish I had a really large area where the birds could fly. My bird room just isn't safe for them to be out. There are too many problems and it's a rental property so I can't make any changes to it.
