Natural spider repellents that are safe for finches

Post by Red_Rose » Wed Aug 27, 2014 1:06 pm

I've been finding some fairly big spiders in my bedroom and I want to ask all of you if you know of any natural repellents that would be safe for my babies? I've found quite a few different ones but the require the use of essential oils and I heard that those aren't safe to use around birds.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can use?

Thanks! :)

This is not a natural insecticide, but I use Avian Insect Liquidator made by Vetafarm. It is very safe for birds, as it can be sprayed directly on the bird, even on nests.

I have some of that. Would it work to repel spiders by spraying it on baseboards and around windows? I'd probably have to cover my aquarium when spraying, just in case. :)

If the answer is yes than I might invest in the concentrated form so I can mix it up whenever I need it.
