Marius, I won't argue with you on that point. Coming from Jhb, the beauty of the Helderberg basin astounds me every day. The wind is definitely worth it :D

Rox The problem with being surrounded by beauty is that you become inured to it. If I go to my front stoop I can see False Bay. If I were to turn my head left, I would see Table Mountain and the Atlantic ocean. The problem is that I don't see it anymore. When I drove to Monotwine, I looked at the proteas on the the side of the road, looked out over Zeekoeivlei and wondered at the beauty around me.

@monotwine The normal hen that I got from you hatched a 2nd clutch a few days ago. This time there are 4 babies. Thank you again. :D

I must admit, I never tire of my beautiful surroundings! season change always brings new feasts for the eye.
