I get a similar bunch. Love watching the mouse birds. They are noisy and cheeky. If I recall someone here once had one as a pet in USA. Handreared.

Elana, as Monotwine mentioned, the mouse birds make fantastic pets if hand reared. I know a gentleman who had a few as a youngster and he said they would climb up and down and all over you and they get quite attached to their owners. They are very gregarious birds and are hilarious to watch in their antics. Total clowns! You can find them in the States and probably even in Canada. Here is a nice site from a breeder in Florida
