The Owls, 'are' more flighty than Gouldians, or at least mine are. However, they are so darn cute, that you forgive their flightiness.

Yay! They arrived healthy and happy! I love the rosey tinge on their breasts! I know you've probably spent all day Sunday just watching them :YMDAYDREAM:

Rox & Babs

Hi girls.

Yes, they are real sweethearts, and spent the night , each sleeping in a seed cup :-). They will obviously need a little nest for sleeping.

One has a wing that looks like it was damaged somehow in the past, but it doesn't impede his flying in any way. I was aware of this before I got them. Otherwise, feathers are in slightly rough shape, but with all the moving and stress they've had in the last little while, that is not surprising, and will be remedied in no time.

Aside from that they are little darlings.

Thanks Lori :-D.
I think they are overlooked, but from what I'm seeing so far, I would say they are definitely worth looking into.

They really are, I call mine the ADHD Kids on the playground. Never stop flitting around. I have a pair in a flight with all my female gouldians and the goulds look at them like they can't believe how crazy they are.

Owls, are energizer bunnies. Mine are in a Waxbills flight, so they fit right in :-D. They make perfect sense to me, but then I am ADD (hypo, not hyper), so they actually act as a stimulant for me (until I go cross eyed  ).
