Hi Rox
Wow, these photos are amazing. Thanks for sharing. It makes me wish I lived in a warmer climate so I do something like that.

Re: Photo's of the flock
mrski If you have a spare room, you could make an inside aviary with potted plants and even lay dirt down or synthetic turf (protect your floors first, lol!). It would look just as awesome
Marius, I would love Dybowski twinspots but I believe they can be very aggressive. Let me see if I can get it right with the Peter's twinspots first and then maybe I will try the more difficult species. I personally think the green twinspots are stunning and they can be kept and bred in a colony setting, which is a bonus.

Rox They do say the same about P twinspots as well. I think Christo has bred them and kept them in a communal aviary.

Rox. The Violet Earred hen is phenomenal. Would love to see what the male looks like. They are all beautiful, but think that the Violet Ear is my favorite. Stu

Stu, thank you! Here is a photo of the Violet-eared male. They are incredibly striking birds
The male is a complete pushover compared to the hen. Much more gentle in nature.
