Wrong nesting material?

Post by StodOne » Mon May 16, 2016 7:21 am

So every day I put chickweed inside the cage so the birds can munch on it , one of my societies I think has a wrong idea what I'm offering them and he just takes the chickweed and pushes it inside the nest , I am afraid that it doesent start to mold or anything , I've seen some un-eaten chickweed on the ground and it doesent seem it would start to mold or anything , it just turns brown and dry , any advice?

Many birds put greens/veggies inside their nests, so I don't think it would be a problem with chickweed either.
