Just a few pics of the "kids" since it is nice and sunny and I could move them to the patio today! Mama and papa (Fitz and Lolly) are sitting on their clutch of 5 eggs now like good parents - Lolly seems to be more accepting of the two newbies (the new youngsters) and Fitz likes them just fine!
Lolly on the eggs:
Happy family: Lolly mostly white in front, then Fitz, then to two newbies in back...

OMG just went and checked on the birds and the newbies are taking a turn on the eggs! This is a first! Can't believe it - Lolly is not freaking out and even joined them for a minute! So relieved they are getting along better - she still has grumpy moments (mostly in the morning) but relieved they are settling in together!

It's a lot of fun to see all of the adults feeding the babies. Wait until they hatch!

You seem to have lucked out and your original pair accepted the two new birds to help out. When I bought my female Poppy from a pet shop, within a day she had taken on a parental role with two chicks my pair was raising, which were already almost ready to leave the nest. The parents accepted her right into their family group and now the trio have four babies of their own which they're all raising, I think two from each mother.
