I'd like to share a few videos of my little Finches ,and their new nest:)
Finchy laid a clutch early this year, so I took out her nest box- I didn't want to encourage her to keep laying right after another.
Then I got her a friend- another hen, a wonderful white zebra finch, Swan. They've bonded quickly, and surprisingly started copulating , and been building nests since then. They are free to fly around my room, so the first nest was on the bookshelf- well that didn't work out. After a few locations they've both agreed that my lamp would be perfect for a nest. They are building their nest together there since last month. They are pretty busy! And the nest looks pretty good considering they are both hens.
