Sheather

Dylan, I have no idea what on earth possessed them, because they can't even fly all that well. I think they decided that if they got free of their filthy little cage, they may as well go all the way and make a break for it.

I just really really wish they would have decided to go for it at a more convenient time of the day :D

lovezebs What a hoot! I came home to a finch sitting not in his cage, but on top of it at one point. The feeling of befuddlement when they turn up someplace they aren't supposed to be really is comical in retrospect! (Maybe not so much when your heart is pounding as you attempt to wrangle the little rascals back to safety.)

I'm sure, it would have been comical to watch, lol.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I wonder what the nighbours would have thought (had they been up) and looking out the window.

Crazy, wild eyed, wild haired woman, racing around the house in her pyjamas, waving a net around frantically in the middle of the night. Standing on her head in a closet, butt sticking up in the air, bouncing up and down like a lunatic this way and that way.....oh ye gods....   .

I really hope no one was glancing in my window

I've uttered the same prayer on more than one occasion, "Don't let the neighbors see this madness. They'll have me hauled off!"
