If the first egg was laid March 2, and I assume one each day until three were laid. Then, count from March 4th+12 or 14 days=March 16 to March 18 are the days to watch for hatchlings. Yeah and good luck!

Also I wouldn't worry about them not being good till at least a week after you expect them to hatch. Sometimes we guess the wrong date that they sit tight.

LOL. If we had to sit on a nest of eggs and wait for the guys to feed us.... I guess we would all starve to death.

Eva came out of the nest today and Wallee did not go right in, so she chased him around and pecked the heck out of him, he then jumped in the nest. Eva runs a tight schedule and Wallee better wake up. They are so entertaining.

Well......they both came out of the nest and I grabbed a chair to take a look.......two babies one born today and four more eggs, wow was I wrong. All the numbers add up and the dates are right for her to have laid six and not three eggs. Meanwhile one of my aviary pair of Zebra finch abandoned their nest, the female did, the male sit on top of the box calling her most of the day. I went out at dust and no one in the box so I brought them in and I am now hand feeding four beautiful youngins. This is my second clutch to raise. Life is great.

Yep, those are my adopted babies. The youngest one is "Trouble", I have to physically remove him/her from the syringe, is the loudest, stays hid the most, lov em all. Will take updated pictures end of week.

This is the dad and baby the mom is all white, pictures of both parents is on page 1. Anyone know what the baby is, besides just as cute as can be.....3 weeks old.
