Well, I think that my 'babies' are actually two of the original bird that I had found at the bird rescue. They had been multi ng, so looked like babies. But in looking at Dylan's picture, they may be, in fact, hybrids. They have two ronde bills - silver bottom and black top. And the brown is darker than that of what I think is a true spice. The breast feather pattern is also irregular in the darker two. So, maybe no babies cause most were hybrid and possibly sterile?
