lovezebs... I know you are good to your birds, but wow does it show, they are so beautiful!! I've seen some pretty birds but yours are magazine... website whatever there is now... worthy!! What a great camera you have too.... I love that you get such close ups of them, my goulds are like "screw you giant human who caught us once a long time ago and we'll never forget...." LOL But wow, I didn't realize how many goulds you had and different types Blues and yellows... def agree with the Jealousy... Such lucky birds my friend.... BTW, love the salads... and they seem to love them too!!!! LOL Great pics.... can't wait til I can show off my birds like this one day! Oh and btw, I love Uggy!!!! he's one of my faves!!!!

Thanks Ellen,

No special camera, just my Samsung cell phone.

My guys are quite calm and comfortable around me. Many of them have been handled a lot by me since they were tiny babies, so they're not afraid of me. With these kids not being fearful, the other birds pick up on it too.

They are not tame, like some hookbills get, just not fearful of the giant human.

That's why the parents don't worry when I borrow their infants for snuggles or supplement feedings.

I'm glad you like Uggy....lol. Just wait a couple of weeks, and see if Uggy, is still ugly

lovezebs I know he won't be!!!! Is he new? When did you pick up that little guy? After seeing Pim's transformation, I'm sure this guy will ravishing much sooner than later!!! Wow, your phone takes great photos!! I need a new phone! I just got a reminder on my phone from my "google photos" saying "look back" on a year ago and my baby zebs had just fledged this week last year, the pictures from a year ago today, actually only 3 were fledged!! Can you believe my babies are a year old? Crazy how time flies!!! They were so cute when they were that age, and not afraid, I picked them all up and rescued them (when they weren't flying very good yet) now they see me and they screw!!! I am less busy now (all moved and stuff) so I do try to just go into the bird room and sit there and talk to them calmly, once I'm in there for a few minutes they calm down but I think after all of Charlottes Trials (with the thing on her head) They all got traumatized from me catching her every day twice a day towards the end... and I think they didn't like seeing thier mother in distress (or any bird for that matter, cuz she was actually kind of mean to them!) Anyhow, that kind of turned them off from me, and then the goulds, I had to catch them to move them to the new house, and they didnt' like the catching, so they are a little turned off by me as well! But I just keep working with them... offering them goodies, and being calm around them talking quietly, and no quick or sudden movements... I'm sure they'll get there! Believe it or not Charlotte is the least afraid of me.... (she always was) and she was the one that had to get caught all the time!! LOL Anyhow... that's my story for the day.. LOL maybe I should have done my own post huh? LOL, but seriously thanks for these Elana,,, only problem is it makes me want more!!! I always complain that there are no gouldians near me (stores, or breeders) now I think it's a good thing, I don't think I could pass up a gould now if I tried!!! LOL

Funny that you mentioned Pim together with Uggy

. Uggy, is Pim and BB's daughter from their November 2015 clutch.

Uggy, is going to be a Red Head, her sister, an Orange Head, and their third sibling is still not coloured. They are also siblings to our Uno, from the clutch before him.
