Ahahaha! That looks about right! If I was 20 years younger I would seriously enjoy a ride like that.
OMG he is GORGEOUS!!! I'm in LOVE!

Charlie is my baby.
He only turned a year old on the 12th of August.
He is a petit 26 or 27 inches at the shoulder (withers) and only weighs a little over 110 lbs. He'll be fully grown and developed at around 18 months, so you're right, he's still growing, but much slower now.
So as I said, just a baby (His brother Tank weighs in at 140 lbs.)

Glad you like him, I'm rather fond of him myself, when he's not trying to break me one way or another, lol.
How's the hand doing by the way?

he's pretty strong and all muscle, plus he's still a pup and doesnt realize poor thing that is hurting you. lol
my hand seems better or at least havent busted the stitches yet. lol
doc said in about 5-7days need stitches removed if no infection.
did know but the ratio of woods in hands is 1:20 gets infected, so he told me to be careful and im trying. hahah
thanks for asking

They gave you a Tetanus shot, right?
So that's one thing you needn't worry about anyway.
I'm sure you already know that if it gets red and hot, and starts hurting more rather than less, it's a sign of trouble
.
Hopefully all will go well
if you take it easy for a few more days.

Thanks Elana!
Oh yeah they gave me tetanus that night!
Yes I'm checking it out carefully and hoping no infection.
And I'm really taking it easy, no use for that hand for now, I actually started typing with that hand just today. Lol

Re: How i made my wooden stack cages
K so my hand is still messed up but i was able to do really small work of the lights since they came early.
This is just for testing and is not installed but just to show how much light there is going to be in individual cages. I have to say i am impressed and was not expecting this great of lighting. Hopefully it will help with breeding and getting the birds to have a natural sunrise/sunset.
here is some pics.

Yes I got the stitches out on Sunday but the Walking Clinic doctor was a complete idiot and busted open the wound and with no freaking shame asked me if I needed new stitches. I just left as I was loosing it and there is no anger management that can makes me recover when I loose it. DONT EVER USE A WALKING CLINIC FOR OTHER THEN COLDS AND FLU.
For lighting I used led strips the latest type 7020.
I'm very satisfied with the amount of light those guys put out. I've used the 5630 strips with a lot of success in the past but these guys are bright. The light is a day light smth from 5600k - 6500k, so pretty good for avian use.
