You know it's bad when : your husband wants to go out to eat but insists on taking the motorcycle because the restaurant is in the same plaza as Petsmart and no way you can take a bird home on a motorcycle.
(I think he under estimates my bird transport skills)

I had to be literally dragged out of a pet store once by my partner with my heels in the ground because I wanted to buy a canary who was 'speaking' to me.

@Nerien My husband recently commented on how much I talk to my favorite Society, Mr. Bump. I said I didn't think I did it that much and he informed me that I only carry on a full conversation with him every time I pass the cage

It's even worse when you know going in that it's either the electric bill or a new finch, and you still go for the bird!

And I just noticed this morning I have more bird seed in my freezer than people food.

OMGosh! I thought it was only me! I actually FORCE my patients to look at my bird pictures. LOL, I can see them go "oooohhhh... oookkkk..." but I can't stop!! LOL
