Erm, next time we have babies please could someone remind me of the fun and games I have had trying to band fleglings..lol next time I will band before they fledge, we have had a right game chasing them all over the cage and still only got one banded. I Looked everywhere and couldn't find a small finch net just massive ones for aviaries so I have made my own and hopefully this might make catching the rest easier. LOl you would have been in stitches if you could have seen us.

I love it! I try to time my banding to right before they get all of their feathers in so they can't get away.

now that sounds like a plan to me, so why didn't you tell me that 2 weeks ago..lol

I banded all my baby society's and when they all fledged there were no bands anywhere to be seen!! Not sure what they did with them, we made sure they were all closed up too lol
