Don't forget the star finches in Erie, PA:

Petfinder

They had a couple of other stars and a diamond firetail (a "red tail finch") as of a couple of days ago, but I see somebody snapped them up!

They list 3 female and 1 male Star finches. Don't know what their adoption fee is, but you are looking at about $200 worth of birds. Of course, they are most likely related, so you wouldn't be breeding them, unless you got still more Star finches, but if I lived in that area, I would check that out--Stars are one of my favorites!
