~IN MEMORY OF B CAMP~
I received a call tonight from Bill's wife, sadly our forum friend, Bill (B CAmp) passed away on Wednesday, September 21st.
Bill had COPD, his wife said he had an xray done in July, it was clean and they were hopeful. He had a follow up xray in early September, and the news was not good, he had many tumors in his lungs, the diagnosis was cancer. Bill passed shortly after the diagnosis.
I met Bill briefly and just learned of his passing today. May we all remember his kindness, his helpful advice and his love for his finches and parrots.
I asked his wife if she would like to leave an address for cards or letter. She asked only that we remember him on the forum.
We will miss you B Camp.

Oh my. I knew Bill was ill, but didnt realize it was so serious.
My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
He'll hold a special spot in our hearts. May he rest in peace.

I'm very sad to hear this. While I have not been on the forum too long, I did learn a thing or two from him. His wealth of knowledge and willingness to share it, will be missed by novice finchers like myself. Cindy, if you speak with his wife again, please pass along my sympathies.

Re: ~IN MEMORY OF B CAMP~
I too just learned of Bill's passing as well by way of a personal email. I was surprised and extremely saddened to read it.
His passion for his birds and tropical flowers were surpassed by none. We miss you so much Bill - God bless you.

I know Cindy, he and I swapped cuttings a couple of years ago. He was a generous man. Unfortunately neither of our cuttings survived but it was fun to try.

Re: ~IN MEMORY OF B CAMP~
He had little paths to go through to get to the house and cages built in the garden for some of his birds. He will certainly be missed here.

That is indeed sad news. Bill has been a member of this forum family for close to four years, and will be greatly missed.
