a pair of new gouldians...

got 2 new gouldians from a vendor at the orlando bird show, he said they were split to blue...one male, one female...
abl
there were some beautiful blue and silver gouldians at $80-90 each but i have a space issues so i had to decline...and was finally able to find a partner for my lavender, clint.

input please...

i have 2 more but will post pics later to pair up with orion and sirius...

They are gorgeous! I love the yellows. =) I got some blues at the Expo. =)

Pictures are a bit on the yellow side so it's hard to tell but they both look like hens to me on this end. A BH and a YH it seems.

thanks guys. debbie276- i'll try to post better pictures later today with a better camera.
@cronista26- i was informed they are not related. they have different leg bands.

both to me seem like a black head, with one a lilac breast and the other a purple breast female. i could be wrong of course...

I would say the one with the red tipped beak is a BH and the one with the yellow tipped beak is a BH YTB which makes it genetically a YH

@debbie276-YTB= yellow tip beak, correct? thanks for the input! im hoping to pair them with split to blues dilute black head males (SFY) and hopefully get some yellows, normals and blue offspring!
