You got me !!! I was wondering what colour they were. What is a CFW ? Thanks.

Everyone here treats them as if they are really common but i think they are still very pretty birds and a nice addiction to my collection. Just plain old boring Zebras i was told. Nope not for me.

CFW is Chestnut Flanked White.... Actually the male is a Black Body not Charcoal. Double checked on him, Charcoals do not have bars on the tail.

Thank you. He was the only one that had the black chest out of about 40 birds in the cage, she had a lot of fun catching him, but he was the one i wanted. And i loved her for the tear drops, which i now realise they are pretty common but cute even so.

I haven't heard much of a song coming from him yet, do Zebra's sing nicely?

I told my son I was going to get the zebras and when I got home he was so disappointed at their colours because they weren't black and white striped like a zebra.
