NEED URGENT ADVICE! Society acting 'drunk'!!

Post by redtess » Sun Apr 20, 2008 6:13 pm

I just went to freshen the water in the cage, and the young one (about 3 months old now) is acting like he's disoriented or drunk, and can't sit straight. He was hitting the cage sides, and I just put a new branch of millet seed in... do you think he's dying? He seems to be eating the millet now...but I am wondering if he's not a 'forreger' like his parents are (also in the cage and seem fine), so he might not have eaten today... input? Something to worry about?

I can't offer any advice but was just wondering how your society is doing today?

If he is 3 months old, he should be weaned and eating with no problem on his own for quite a while now. How is he today?

Society seems better

Okay, thanks for the input.
I misspoke, born in November, so that will make him 5 months...
anywho... I think since there was no seed he liked in the dish, he didn't want to 'dig' for anything...when i put the millet in...he ate for a while...
today he seems ok.
i am wondering if he was just a little hungry..
He's cuddling with mom & dad today. seems in better spirits.
Thanks!
