Well I've gone and done it. I went down to our humane society to check out the multitude of finches up for addoption. Well there were only about twenty or so, and now they have two less... Welcome Max and Micky mt two new zebbie boys who came home with me today. Max is a light cfw and Micky is white with very very light markings. All I know about them, is that they and many siblings came from a hoarding situation. Dont even know how old they are. Right now they are very quiet in their quarentine cage which has me a little concerned but hopefully all w
will be well. I did notice however, tjat they appear smaller than my two hale and hearty regular boys. I hope these two boys were not the result of too much in breeding. Wish me luck all those zebbie lovets wprld over. :-)

fhgwgads and other responders thankyou for the welcome for my two new feathered kids. They are sweet but still quiet when left alone and jumpy when I approach them. It will take time. Who knows what their situation was prior to arriving at the spca, poor little guys. As for pictures of all my babies... maybe one day when my poor brain can wrap itself around the process. :-)

Hi Lovezebs,

give your two boys time (Max and Micky are such cute names!) and they will settle down. When I got my Beaky (he's a Zebbie too) he took a few weeks to settle down, and only gets cross at me when I cover him up now at night.

Good luck

Kind Regards
