My little love birds, finch pair, have one egg so far. I am checking out bubble gum cigars......over the moon I feel like I laid that egg...breath breath take a deep breath.....will keep everyone updated but right now I have to rest....... :lol:

I guess I should saidmy lovey birds which are my Florida Silver Split from Pied and my Florida Fancy all white Zebra Finches....the hormones from expecting have just got me dizzy....gotta start my hatching calendar....thanks everyone.....

Today they started sitting so I figure 3 eggs, guessing. Since this morning the eggs are never left alone. Now just wait, they seem to be good parents so far. I am so crazy....I even found myself being so quiet and even discovered I have been lowering my voice. I am sure I am not the only crazy finch owner. It is just so funny how we as humans (some of us) carry on with our pets.... Lov'em....

If I remember, Zebra finch incubation is 14 days?? I just re-read finch info to keep updated...

March 10th I will be on alert. I was watching her Eva, sitting in her nest almost all the time with very few breaks and I thought if women had to do that to have a baby there would be less babies......waiting for the men to relieve us so we could go out.......just having to stay put would do it... Wallee is still trying to poke stuff in the nest. :wink: :wink:
