Christo,
Congrats and hope this is the start to a solid breeding season for you.
Any chance you can post a picture of your set up? I have a pair and an extra hen. The pair is starting to settle down a bit and the cock is making a couple nests, just don't want to get in there and stir things up just to see whats going on.
I have them set up in a 4x2x2 breeding cabinet and they seem to be pretty happy in there so far.

Rob,
I have mine in a seperate enclosure inside my big aviary.
It measures 1.8m high, 1.8m wide and depth of 0.8meter. It is not very well protected against the elements and we have harsh winters going down to minus 8 or 10 degrees Celcius.
I have put on the ground a large bunch of grass and also some bush.
I have given them coconut fibre, teff grass and also feathers for nest building.
I think it is best not to interfere because they normally do not tolerate nest inspection.
Live food in the form of termites were given twice daily.
The 2 pictures were taken when I built the enclosure and the next picture shows its position in my aviary.
Regards,
Christo

Sorry to say that I lost this young one last night.
An unexpected cold spell with temperature dropping to 3 degrees C.

So sorry you lost that young one. Changes in weather are hard to deal with. But now that your pair has produced, let's hope they keep it up and give you some more babies!
