So, I always had trouble getting my late zebra female to sit on a nest. Last summer, I experimented with fostering her eggs out to some societies. I did this again just before she died and got two chicks out of it.

That's so cool! I've done the same with eggs and also babies that got tossed. One of my favorite zebras was a fostered bird, fostered by my 10 year old fawn. It's even more special because she's no longer with you. You babies are beautiful! Let us see pictures later when they get more color.
