Let us know what kind and how many birds you "don't get" tomorrow. We want to know what they are and what you name them. Pictures would also be nice!

Hey everyone The sale was so much fun, there were hundreds and hundreds of birds there and even more people, it was packed !!!

OK so the birds that I DIDN'T get are a pair of Yellow backed white breasted red head Gouldians and a pair of Pied cordons and a male orange breast. Thank god I ran out of money ($300 !!!!!). I had to get the pied cordons as I lost my hen and it has been impossible to replace her, so I had to get another pair, they are so gorgeous I didn't mind a bit. I also lost my orange breast male so I had to replace him as well. BUT the Gouldians were just a treat, sooooo pretty and I wanted them for ages. Actually they are all a treat.

Very happy with todays findings.....photos coming soon, I will try to get some tomorrow for you. Names coming as well

Congrats on the new birds, i've never seen any pied cordons over here but have seen photos on australian sites, they are gorgeous along with the Gouldians you got.

Never say never! With birds, it's always a never ending story with a very happy ending! Can't wait to see pictures! Congratulations! I'm so slow to name birds. I have some 4 months old without names still. Guess I'm just waiting for it to "hit me!"

MiaCarter That's the problem...I have run out of room !! While the weather has dropped and winter has just started, I have them in the back room along with some others. We have a brand new aviary sitting there waiting, then I can get just a couple more

If you have a look at my signature you can see all the birds I was NOT getting. I started out with a couple of Societies. But, I love each and every one of them and don't regret it for a second...I am just hopeless at saying no...but the time has come !!

Smurf I already have some pied parrots, I seen some really heavily pied ones at the last sale that I wanted, but they sold out before I got to them dammit. Hopefully the ones I have throw some nicely marked pieds for me.

But room is gong to dictate what I can do from now, also the weather. Plus lucky for me the next sale is not until August. It would be different if I could put them outside in the new aviary but its just too cold. So, i have 5 flight cages in the back room where I can go and sit with them. So peaceful.

I wont be able to put any outside until about late September, so I have a bit of time to wait. Plus I broke the bank AGAIN at the sale, so i have to save up again for August BUT I AM NOT GETTING ANY MORE BIRDS OK NO MORE BIRDS !!!!!!!

LOL!!!! Its hard because you just want more and more!!!! THAts like everyone

delray You have 2.....I have 57....do you think it is time to stop yet? A year ago all I had was 2 Societies and it grew from there, but I don't regret a single bird, I love looking after them and enjoying all of their antics and listening to them. BUT I am now seriously at the point of having no more room. We got a brand new aviary at Xmas tie but the weather turned bad and it is sitting empty, so once that is in use we can utilise that.

I cant wait to see what you collect...I am sure you will get the bug
