I picked up these gorgeous birds from Michelle [Prefex] yesterday. Seeing her aviary gave me lots of design ideas & hoping one is in my future. All 3 settled into their temporary home and are delightful to watch. Woke this am to beautiful chirping & "songs" then low & behold there was an egg laid in their seed cup! I will need to rearrange birds in my large flight as my RC Cordon Bleus did not leave their nest at all last eve & today only the male has come out for food then right back in. They tossed their last clutch so I'm not holding my breath.

Thanks MiaCarter & Brian! I had a pair of Owls many years ago & am delighted to have these. I have had mostly waxbills & Gouldians but believe I will expand my list to include R/T parrot finch. He is beautiful to watch & very playful with items in the cage.

It was wonderful to meet you and your husband and glad our finch kids we to an awesome home!
They look so happy all snuggled up in the top pic. You can put in a nest box in for the owls, and see how they do for their first clutch. Glad you're enjoying them.
