Some photos of what I picked up today

Here are some photos of what I picked up today for the aviary which is in progress.
4 x cordon bleu
2 x parrot finches.red face and pied
1 x fire finches
1 x lavenders
The parrot finches I doubt are a pair or at least are reversed to as what he said.he claimed the pied was the female and the red face was the male.but as soon as I got home the pied wanted to break the cage down with its wonderful song.the red face is still quiet.will wait and see.the rest are pairs however.the lavenders seem to be a pair also as the male was singing get to the female.we shall see what happens once they are released in the aviary.however I'm veeeeery pleased with them

Hehe lovezebz. Thanks.been waiting to restart with this passion for the beauty of 9 years.im actually waiting on a breeder at the moment in my car to pick up a pair of cherry head finches.
The guy who is building the aviary claims he bought the material and started constructing the structure as he already came twice to take the measurements.the small base wall is done and should be tiled today.im hoping in the next week or so it will be in place.in the meantime I'll be picking up the trees I ordered and fix the nests I bought till now in place.
Can't wait for monday/Tuesday. I get to pick up the hecks, parsons, stars and societies.
Really want the aviary to be done fast as I feel sorry for them stuck in small cages

And I picked up cherries also.poor lady she laid 16 eggs.had no material to take in to the nest as it was only for roosting purposes .let's see what she will do at me now
