I had a new chick fledge last night. It's so cute! But I am unsure of what parentage it is though. It fledged out of my society nest but it doesn't look like a society.
(it kinda looks like my hybrid when he was a fledgling)
I have some societies and a pair of spice finches in the same cage. So it very well could be a hybrid (not intentional of course). Either way I'm so excited! Now if I just could get it's sibling to fledge.

9 society finches: Elvis, Priscilla, Splash, Dash, Beatle, Coco, Blonde, Cricket, & Numbers
2 canaries: Jewel & Boomer
4 parakeets: Birdie, Strips, Moondoggie,
& Gidget
1 shiba inu: Blazing Skies
1 calico tabby cat: Autumn
1 Husband and 2 Daughters
. It will be interesting to see what others think your fledgling is...I am clueless ;)
