I found some more birds and I'm wondering if they are a good deal? I never see these guys in stores so I haven't a clue.
a pair of Yellow Weavers ($20 each), a male Cordon Bleu ($20)

Where do you keep finding these deals? I paid $50 for a cordon bleu at a birdsmart in AZ. I also bought an orange weaver for $25 there.

Prices can be deceiving. $20 is cheap for a Cordon Bleu, but what is its history? If it is old, then that price is about right. A closed-banded young domestic BCCB should cost $75, a wild-caught BCCB should cost $50-60 (in my area). Is this a BCCB or RCCB? I'd ask why so cheap? Don't know a thing about Weavers.

She's going to focus on her other bird species so she's thinning her finch flock, the weavers are young but she doesn't know the age of the bleu which is fine with me I don't plan on breeding him if I get them anyway.

For $20, you should get your money's worth of enjoyment out of the Cordon Bleu. They are so beautiful, colorful, and have a lovely song.
