Sardine finches - please help!
We seem to have recently acquired a pack of sardine finches. Any information you might have on this elusive specie would be greatly appreciated. As you'd expect, the container they came in reeks a little...
Needless to say, if you have sardine finch pics, please share them.

Ha-ha-Ha...Gotta love that.
I have an even more rare mutation. They are called the So-gould-dines. I had a can containing a bakers dozen, bursting at the seams last night. There were about 9 heads sticking out. I tried so hard to take a picture, but stupid camera would not cooperate. Everything kept coming out blurry.
It's amazing how they don't squish or suffocate each other.
Keep the cute pictures coming.

Here are mine. And this is after they left their original nest (one of the little covered bamboo ones) and then unfledged themselves. I can only imagine how crowded they were with all 6 and their parents and frequently their two older sisters as well all trying to crowd into that one. We called them the clown car.

Ooh, I've got a pack of gouldines! I'll have to capture a photo!
All five will pack into the nest with mum and dad.
We said that they're all "pickled" in there.
And so, we arrived at a lovely name for one of the babies. Pickle!
Photo to come!
